As announced by the organizers weeks earlier, there have been 77 slots allocated for Class O and A instead of the previous 35 slots limited allocation for each classes. This year, Class B and C have been scrapped for apparent reasons.
In addition to the increased slots available, the class A will be split into two, A1 and A2, to separate between production supercars as A1 (Group B or GT4 or non FIA homologated production sports) and production sports and saloon cars in A2 (Group N and Group A or non FIA homologated Touring Cars). The 77 slots on the starting grid are now split into the three classes, 27 for class O, 25 for class A1 and 25 for class A2.
As an icing on the cake for the tenth addition of the MME race, SIC will also be organizing the 10th Anniversary MMER Celebration dinner as tribute to the late Tan Sri Basir Ismail and past champions of the MME race.
The MME race will flag off on 8 August as compared to an end of August date from previous years to make way for the upcoming Month of "Ramadhan".
For spectators, entrance is free with parking charges as low as RM5 for cars and RM2 for motorcycles.
Head down to the circuit for a weekend of non-stop racing and watch MME tandem battles LIVE and in front of your very eyes!
