SUPERCARS & PRECIOUS TIMEPIECES AT A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME III

An extraordinary appearance of supercars and superbikes were spotted outside Starhill Gallery last weekend, in conjunction with the recent "A Journey Through Time III" event.
These marques made their imposing presence when its owners visited the event deemed as Asia’s largest showcase on luxury watch and jewellery. It was a visual feast with 100 supercars parked right outside Starhill Gallery and JW Marriott.
The various types of Supercars that were present at the prestigious event included the Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Lotus and some other rare classic cars such as Jaguar E-type, Aston Martin Zagato DB7.
With conjunction to the gathering of supercars at A Journey Through Time III,
Jaeger - LeCoultre, the reference of time watchmaking, known for their creativity, innovation and invention, showcased their master timepieces such as the AMVOX collection. The AMVOX is a creation from a partnership between Aston Martin and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The fruitful cooperation between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin has successively given rise to the AMVOX1 Alarm, an extremely beautiful alarm watch, and to the AMVOX2, an exceptional choronograph unique in its kind and vertically activated by simply pressing the watch glass. Now comes the AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT, which showcases the ultimate horological complication, the tourbillon, within a technical, sporting and prestigious stage-setting. Above and beyond this spectacular new mechanism, the AMVOX3 is also a watershed model representing Jaeger-LeCoultre’s first incursion into the world of high-tech ceramics.
The annual event in its 3rd edition in 2009 was held from 3 - 13 December where guests and visitors were provided an opportunity to see renowned watchmakers exhibiting rare timepieces and jewellery, including debut pieces in Asia.
A Journey Through Time III also featured nightly gala dinners where guests were enthralled with first class internationally acclaimed performances by Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina, Stephen Rahman-Hughes, Ning Baizura, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Maria Cordero and Katherine Jenkins.
