The Nissan Grand Livina gets 2012 AUTECH guise

Nissan Malaysia's best-seller the Grand Livina (GL) compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) now comes in the AUTECH guise following Edaran Tan Chong Motor's (ETCM) newest announcement. The GL AUTECH is a follow up to last year's GL X-Gear proclamation. Since '07, the GL compact MPV has been a popular non-national multi-purpose vehicle among the citizens.  

This year, the GL gets more than just a facelift but vital improvements from AUTECH; both on the exterior and interior. AUTECH is another variation of Nissan's modification brands, in line with NISMO and Impul. A less expensive of the two, AUTECH is the third choice among ardent Nissan pro tuners. 

The GL AUTECH retains a 1.8-litre MR18DE engine, but the front-end of the compact MPV takes up a chrome front grille and new front bumper with a chrome finish, accentuating a popularized sporty demeanor. Next, AUTECH 15" 6-spole alloy wheels give the compact MPV a competent stance. In addition, the wheels get more depth with the diamond-cut, gunmetal-textured finish on each spoke. At the rear, an AUTECH insignia is instantly recognizable and located at the tail gate of the MPV. If tinting is your thing, the GL AUTECH is incorporated with the V-Kool Solargard Armorcoat window tint, while a bronze gold color is added to the MPV body colors for good measures. 

The interior cabin gets some enhancements as well; primarily the brown or black leather seats and an integrated navigation and multimedia (DVD, USB, Bluetooth) system with 6-inch touch screen and reverse camera  An optional larger display of a 10.2” LCD screen is also available.

The GL AUTECH comes in time for the upcoming festive season. And ETCM recommends the 7-seater AUTECH GL to festive travellers due to its adequate drivability, ride smoothness and handling.
